Hepatitis B vaccine for children - HEP B (JUNIOR)

Hepatitis B is a disease caused by a viral virus. Viruses can cause the death of a large number of liver cells and damage liver function. Some infected people will become lifelong carriers and may develop chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, or even liver cancer in the future. According to statistics, about 8% of the population in Hong Kong are hepatitis B carriers.

​Hepatitis B virus survives in blood and body fluids, including saliva, semen, vaginal secretions, and other body secretions. As long as there is contact with the patient's blood or body fluids, there is a chance of viral infection.
